The 258th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah began in Kasur.
A number of religious scholars will participate in the celebrations and highlight different aspects of the life of Sufi Saint during the three-day Urs celebrations.
Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Mian Ata Muhammad Manika inaugurated the celebrations after lying traditional ‘chadar’ on the shrine of the great sufi poet. The secretary Auqaf and other senior officers were also present.
Later, special dua was offered for development, progress and stability of the country. A number of religious scholars will participate in celebrations and highlight different aspects of the life of Hazrat Bulleh Shah. Renowned qawals will also perform.
Police have made foolproof security for visitors.
