Mehwish Hayat came to Twitter today to speak up against a US airline after it kicked off passengers from the plane for being Muslim. She praised the action taken by the US Transportation Department.
A Delta Airline flight asked Muslim passengers to leave the plane and this isn’t exactly the first time Delta has come under fire for such an incident.
Although the Airline agrees that the situation could have been handled differently, it has been fined $50,000 by the US Transportation Department for doing so as they violated anti-bias laws by removing those passengers according to the US Transportation Department and Daily Mail.

Mehwish Hayat came to Twitter about the incident saying:
A nice slap on the wrists.. I am glad that the US authorities have fined the airline. It is a sad state of affairs that has bought us to this.
She went on to add that people need to start accepting each other despite their backgrounds saying:
Perceptions have to change and people have to be more tolerant of one another irrespective of background, religion or appearance.
Mehwish Hayat recently took a hit at Amir Liaquat for his tweet that the ex TV host made about her. She usually keeps calm but is known to come out and speak up against stuff from time to time.
