In this day and age it is more common to hear about celebrities that are out partying all night, but many celebrities choose to treat their bodies like a temple instead and go to extremes to be as healthy as they can be.
Pop icon Madonna has an amazing body for a woman in her 50s and she works very hard to maintain that physique. She’s most famous for her workouts that include yoga, Pilates, and barre. She also follows a strict macrobiotic diet that of course doesn’t allow any processed foods.
Gwyneth has managed to stay fresh faced and young looking at 40 due to her embracing of several healthy lifestyle choices such as a macrobiotic diet, cleanses and healthy juices. She also practices yoga and lifts light weights to build muscle without getting bulky.
Jennifer Aniston stays fit and healthy with a combo of both diet and exercise. She has cut out processed foods and instead eats proteins and fruits and veggies. She also works out with exercises that include yoga, pilates, cardio and lifting weights.
J Lo has a body that women half her age would kill for. Part of this is due to the fact that she doesn’t smoke or drink. While she claims that she has a pretty relaxed attitude toward diet and exercise, she has to be doing something to get a body like that. She even managed to compete in a triathalon only 7 months after giving birth to twins!
David is another one of the rare celebs who has decided to remain a non drinker and that surely contributes to his healthy body. In addition to that, he of course participates in some pretty heavy workouts, which has lead to the development of the muscular bod that so many women lust after!
Jake has a great interest in healthy eating and it isn’t unusual to find him at a farmer’s market picking out fresh locally grown produce, that is if he couldn’t find what he needed in his own private vegetable garden. He has also set himself the impressive goal of running a marathon. Go Jake!

Kelly Ripa wasn’t always healthy. She was a smoker into her 30s when she decided it was time to make a change. Now she is into 5 mile runs, spinning and her favorite workout Physique 57, which she credits with giving her the body she has today.
Ryan has to be doing something right to maintain that muscular body and what he’s doing is going to extremes in his workouts. An average day includes 500 to 1000 situps to build those sculpted abs in addition to leg lifts and weight lifting. He also eats 8 to 10 small protein packed meals a day to fuel those workouts. I guess a body like that doesn’t just happen like magic!
