Punjab Ba Himmat Buzurg Program 2021

The Government of Punjab is providing financial aid of Rs. 2,000 per month under the Ba Himmat Buzurg Program 2021, an initiative introduced to provide elderly people especially woman with dignified social pension / assistance.

According to the details, the government has allocated over Rs. 2 billion which will be distributed among elderly people especially women above the age of 65 in Punjab.

The goal of Ba Himmat Buzurg Program 2021 is to improve socio-economic wellbeing of the poor elderly people especially women in Punjab by providing them with financial assistance worth Rs. 2,000 every month.

Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) launched this program under the Ehsaas Punjab Program which is built on the model of the National Ehsaas Programme by the Federal Government and overseen by Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr. Sania Nishtar.

According to Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, the program was launched in accordance with Prime Minister’s vision for making Pakistan into a Madinah style state.

How to apply for Ba Himmat Buzurg Program 2021

The registration / application process for the Ba Himmat Buzurg Program 2021 started on November 23rd, 2020 and it will continue for the next three months.

Only senior citizens above 65 years of age shall be eligible for the program. These beneficiaries will be selected by the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) through survey and the help of NADRA and other data banks already in place.
