The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced the school and college timings for Ramadan 2024 in Islamabad.
According to the notification, the single-shift schools will hold classes from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, the double-shift schools will start at 8:00 am and close at 12:30 pm from Monday to Friday for the morning shift, while the evening shift will take place from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday.
Furthermore, the Ex-FG colleges will start classes at 8:30 am and close at 1 pm from Monday to Thursday, while Friday will have shorter timings until 12:30 pm.
It is pertinent to mention that the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (RHC) will meet today in Peshawar for sighting of the crescent moon, which will mark the beginning of the holy month. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and other Middle Eastern countries have already observed their first fast today (March 11).
