US Aims To Return Astronauts To The Moon Within Five Years

US aims to return astronauts to the moon within five years by 2024. Vice President Mike Pence announced it on Tuesday at the meeting of the National Space Council.

Speaking at the meeting he said the original plan of NASA to send astronaut to the moon 2028 was not good enough and it needs to accelerate.

He also emphasized that first woman and the next man to land on the moon will be American Astronauts, launched by Americans from American Soil.

Speaking on he said the President has directed the NASA and the administrator Jim Bridenstine to accomplish this goal by any means necessary.

The administrator Jim Bridenstine has tweeted in response and has said challenge accepted.

Jim Bridenstine has also tweeted that he has spoken to the National Space Council and discussed the need to accurate the mission to achieve the US Aims To Return Astronauts To The Moon Within Five Years.

He also said they will be taking actions and NASA is ready for the challenge.

We will be taking actions to accomplish this and I know @NASA is ready for the challenge of moving forward to the Moon, this time to stay.

Jim Bridenstine also said in a statement that this time NASA will not just land on moon but this time they will stay there. Whatever they learn from the stay on the moon, will be used for the next bigger leap. They will send astronauts to the Mars.

United States was the first nation to land on the moon in the 20th century and it is now ready to be the first nation to land on the Moon in the 21st Century.
