Users will now receive Rs88.9 on Rs100 mobile scratch card

ISLAMABAD: A sign of relief for pre-paid users as The Supreme Court orders of removing service/maintenance charges on pre-paid mobile scratch cards from Monday.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) officials told that now users will no longer have to pay Rs 12.9.

There is 12.5% withholding and 19.5% sales tax on the scratch cards.

In April this year, Supreme Court restored taxes on mobile scratch cards, however, after new order users will now receive Rs 88.9 on Rs 100 mobile scratch card compared with Rs 76.94 previously.
