LAHORE: Former Test Cricketer Abdul Qadir passes away due to cardiac arrest in Lahore today.

Abdul Qadir Khan was a former Pakistani international cricketer whose main role was as a leg spin bowler. Later he was a commentator and Chief Selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board, from which post he resigned because of differences with the top brass of Pakistan cricket.

Abdul Qadir was born on 15 September 1955 in Lahore and Died on 6th September 2019.

Qadir represented Pakistan in 67 Tests and 104 One-day Internationals (ODIs) matches from 1977 to 1993.

He claimed 236 wickets in the five-day format while 132 in the limited-overs matches.
