ISLAMABAD: Parks and trails have been opened for public with immediate effect according to a notification issued by the Office of District Magistrate, Islamabad.
However, the sports and grounds will remain open according to said notification and everyone is ordered to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are issued by the District Magistrate Office including social distancing guidelines only of exercise and walking which is the reason why Islamabad parks have been opened.
The notification also states that “the Environment Directorate, Metropolitan Corporation, Islamabad will be responsible for implementing these SOPs and guidelines.”
