The government of Sindh has announced winter vacations for both public and private schools, colleges, and universities on Thursday.
As per the official notification released by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department (SELD), the winter vacations are scheduled to take place from December 22 to December 31, 2023.
During this period, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, be they public or private, within the province will be closed in adherence to the decision made by the Steering Committee of the education department, as stated by the Sindh Secretary of Education.

Meanwhile, Islamabad has announced revised winter timings for schools and colleges as temperature in the federal capital has seen a massive drop after yesterday’s rain.
