Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has increased price of Suzuki Alto 660cc in Pakistan, which has already been made applicable from 6th April 2023.
According to the details, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has raised prices of all vehicles, including Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Cultus, Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Bolan, and Suzuki Ravi in the local automotive industry.
In a notification, the company revealed the new prices of all vehicles, including the Suzuki Alto, which has seen an increment of Rs. 107,000 for the base variant, while the flagship variant has seen a jump of Rs. 140,000.
According to the notification, the price of the Suzuki Alto VX has been raised by Rs. 107,000 to Rs. 2,251,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,144,000.
Meanwhile, the price of the Suzuki Alto VXR is now Rs. 2,612,000, which is an increase of Rs. 125,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,487,000.
The price of Suzuki Alto VXR AGS has been raised to Rs. 2,799,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,665,000 after a hike of Rs. 134,000.
Lastly, the price of Suzuki Alto AGS in Pakistan, which is the top-of-the-line variant, is now Rs. 2,935,000 compared to the old rate of Rs. 2,795,000 after a hike of Rs. 140,000.

The frequent price hikes in the local automotive industry are mainly due to the poor economic conditions of the country and the depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR).
The worsening economic conditions has completely destroyed the automotive industry, which is on a brink of collapse as sales have fallen drastically.
