Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited has decided to increase its motorcycle prices in Pakistan from 6 September 2023 as the automotive industry continues to struggle due to the worsening economic conditions of the country and constant depreciation of Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD).
According to the circular, the company has increase the price of all motorcycle models by up to Rs. 17,000, including Yamaha YB 125Z, YB 125Z DX, YBR 125, and its flagship bike, the Yamaha YBR 125G, which will be applicable from 6 September 2023.
The price of the Yamaha YB 125Z in Pakistan is now Rs. 396,000 from the old price of Rs. 380,500 after a hike of Rs. 15,500, while the price of YB 125Z DX has been increased to Rs. 423,500 from the old rate of Rs. 408,000 after a hike of Rs. Rs. 15,500.
Similarly, the price of Yamaha YBR 125 in Pakistan is now Rs. 435,500 after an increment of Rs. 16,500 from the old rate of Rs. 419,000. Lastly, the price of Yamaha YBR 125G (Black) is now Rs. 453,000, while the Yamaha YBR 125G (Gray/Orange) will cost Rs. 456,000 after an increase of Rs. 17,000 from the old price of Rs. 436,000 and Rs. 439,000, respectively.

It is pertinent to mention that it is the sixth increase in Yamaha Bike Prices in Pakistan for the year 2023 and there are a lot of hikes expected to follow if the country’s economic conditions don’t improve in the coming months, which is highly unlikely.
Furthermore, it is expected that other motorcycle manufacturers will follow and raise their prices as well.
Yamaha Pakistan has also launched a new color (Bluish-Gray Metallic) for the Yamaha YB 125Z this week at the same price as the other color options.
