The extremely popular Suzuki Bolan VXL (aka Dabba) will now come equipped with an air conditioner (AC) and some pictures of the vehicle are going viral on social media showing the newly installed ‘AC Wala Bolan’. However, it bears mentioning that some reports are circulating online that pictures of the Suzuki Bolan being shared on the internet are fake and the installed AC unit is actually an aftermarket job.
According to some reports, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has confirmed the existence of the Suzuki Bolan with AC, however, it still isn’t confirmed whether the pictures of the Suzuki Bolan VXL with AC going viral on the internet show an actual vehicle with a factory fitted air conditioning system or an aftermarket installation.
It is pertinent to mention that news of the 43-year-old Suzuki Bolan coming with an AC unit started making waves in the automotive market a few months ago but we never got to see actual pictures until now considering these pictures of ‘AC Wala Bolan’ are actually from a factory fitted vehicle.
Real of Fake
The newly installed AC system offer two large control knobs by the driver’s side that look like they’ve been forcefully fitted into the dashboard of the vehicle. The ‘Sanden’ branding creates doubt about the ‘AC Wala Bolan’ being an aftermarket project rather than a factory fitted unit since it is highly unlikely for a company to place a component like that with an aftermarket company’s branding visible.
Furthermore, this isn’t the first time Suzuki Bolan has been equipped with an AC unit as the company has previously sold a variant of the vehicle with a pre-installed AC, however, it was later discontinued due to no demand for the vehicle because of several issues being experienced by customers, including overheating, poor cooling and low acceleration.
Suzuki Bolan VXL Price in Pakistan
There is currently no information about the price of the Suzuki Bolan VXL in Pakistan, however, the price of the current VX variant of the Suzuki Bolan is Rs. 1,178,000.
