Elon Musk says he will help a customer denied refund by Tesla

Recently a customer by the name of Nassim Taleb came to Twitter saying where he gave details on an exchange with a Tesla employee where he was denied a refund to accidental purchase he made on the Tesla app.

Elon Musk says he will address customer’s complaint of refund.

He claimed that the purchase was made while the phone was in his pocket and was worth $4,333 but the customer support at Tesla denied the refund saying that his request for a refund was like “paying for an addition to a house, deciding you don’t like it, and then requesting a refund from the contractor.”

Nassim Taleb said that Tesla’s app was weird in a way that it asked for no confirmation upon pressing the buy button like most other apps.

He gave the example of Amazon and how they make it hard to buy a $6.99 Kindle book and have even “revised purchases made in error.”

However, luckily for him, Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO took notice of his Tweet and responded to him.

Elon Musk said that his concerns will be addressed and that it should be relatively easy for customers to get refunds.
