Govt likely to hike Petrol Prices

ISLAMABAD: International Monetary Funds (IMF) reportedly pressing The federal government to hike Petroleum Products Prices in Pakistan. 

IMF presses the Federal Government to increase the Petrol Prices by Rs.15  within the span of next three months. 

According to sources, IMF delegation had expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of the Federal Cabinet and suggested reforms to widening the Tax net.

Whereas In International Oil Market prices have dropped since last month October and still government hiked the prices this month. 

The Government of Pakistan likely, unlikely hike the petroleum prices and it will directly effect the economy. 

The Prices for the month of November 2018 are as under:

  • MS (Petrol)                      Rs. 97.83
  • High-Speed Diesel          Rs. 112.94
  • Kerosene (SKO)               Rs. 86.50 
  • Light Diesel Oil               Rs. 82.44
