Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir has recently made his Hollywood debut with Netflix’s Resident Evil but he is under fire because of a bold kissing scene in the series and fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment in the actor for taking part in such vulgar scenes.
Most of you are familiar with Resident Evil series, which is based on a Japanese video game series and it has had a very successful movie franchise staring Milla Jovovich. However, the new Resident Evil series is a completely different take on the whole franchise with fresh characters and a different storyline.
Ahad Raza Mir plays the role of ‘Arjun Batra’, an Indian refugee, who has a daughter named Bea with one of the main characters, Jade Wesker. Although, the fans were excited to see the ‘Dhoop Ki Dewar’ star in Netflix’s Resident Evil series, they were disappointed over the acting agreeing to do some bold scenes, including a kissing scene.
Twitter was trending with the hashtag #AhadXResidentEvilNetflix as fans criticized Ahad Raza Mir doing a bold kissing scene amongst others in the Resident Evil series. They even compared the actor to Sajal Aly, who had previously spoken about giving up a Hollywood project just because of a provocative scene.
Here are some of the tweets criticizing the actor for the bold scenes:
