Xulfi Taking Over ‘Coke Studio’ After Rohail Hayatt’s Exit

Coke Studio has just confirmed that Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, who is more famously known as Xulfi, will be taking over and heading Coke Studio after musician and former Vital Signs bandmate Rohail Hayatt announced his departure from the show as a producer.

Rohail Hayat launched Coke Studio in 2008 and ran the show for six seasons before taking a break during which Strings taking the reigns from season six till 10 with Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi co-producing season 11. However, the former Vital Signs member returned to the show in 2019 for another two seasons.

After announcing his departure from the popular show, Rohail Hayatt shared how the former Call Band guitarist, Xulfi, would be an apt replacement for him to produce Coke Studio.

Coke Studio has now confirmed that Xulfi will be taking over for Hayatt as the show’s producer. Taking to Twitter, the official account of CS tweeted, “Shuru Karain? (Let’s Begin?),” while tagging Xulfi.

The Laree Chooti singer responded to the Coke Studio tweet with a smile emoji.

It is pertinent to mention that Xulfi has already produced ‘Hum Aik Hain’ under the banner of Coke Studio and he was also roped in to do Coke Studio Explorer before being called off in Season 12.
