The Government of Balochistan has announced office timings for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the details, the office timings in the province will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Monday to Thursday), while the office hours will be further reduced on Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
For offices that operate six days a week, the Ramadan timings will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Monday to Thursday, and Saturday), while Friday will have shorter working hours from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The shorter working hours will allow people to focus on their religious obligations during the sacred month.
It is pertinent to mention that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (RTC) will meet on March 11 for the sighting of the Ramadan moon. The meeting will be presided over by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad in Peshawar and it will be attended by other scholars and members from the Religious Affairs Ministry.

Furthermore, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a bank holiday on the 1st day of Ramadan for the purpose of deduction of Zakat.
