Coronavirus cases in Pakistan surge to 5984 with 107 deaths

The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have reached 5,830 with over 300 new cases being reported on Tuesday along with seven fatalities bringing the country’s death toll to 96.

Sindh reported four deaths bringing the total of the province to 35 while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported another three deaths before the day’s end bringing the total to 38 fatalities.

According to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar four more people have fell victim to the coronavirus pandemic and the death toll of Punjab has reached 28.

Punjab's #COVID19 stats as on 14th April:
Total confirmed cases: 2,945
Non-Quarantined cases: 1,100
DGK & Multan Quarantine:701
Jail prisoners: 89
Members of Tableeghi Jama'ats: 1,055
Deaths: 28
Critical Patients: 9
Recoveries: 508

Global Update

The total number of coronavirus cases globally have exceeded 1,985,000 with over 125,000 deaths and United States has the highest number of cases as well as death toll in the world.

United States has over 605,000 coronavirus cases that make up over 30 percent of the global cases along with 25,394 deaths that make up over 20 percent of the global death toll and this number is rising by the minute and has reported over 1,800 fatalities in the last 24 hours.

Italy has the second highest death toll with 21,067 fatalities along with over 162,000 coronavirus cases which is the third highest in the world.

Spain has the third highest death toll with 18,056 fatalities however, the number of coronavirus cases is higher then Italy with over 172,500 although the country has seen a decrease in the number of new cases as well as daily deaths.

France has seen a significant rise in coronavirus cases with over 143,000 total confirmed cases while the death toll is 15,729 which has seen a significant decrease recently.

While UK has also seen a rise in daily deaths and the total fatalities in the country have reached 12,107 while the number of COVID-19 cases are over 93,879 and rising.
