The Government of Punjab is going to launch the Ehsaas Rashan Program across the province under the Chairperson, Dr Sania Nishtar, to provide much needed relief to the public on the directives of Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan.
According to the details, a meeting of the Ehsaas Program Committee was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Dr Sania Nishtar to discuss the resumption of the Ehsaas Rashan Program, which will reportedly help around 10 million low-income families across the province.
Dr Sania Nishtar added that Ehsaas Desks are being set up across the province and the Provincial Government is in the process of signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with NADRA, the National Bank, and mobile service providers for the transparent registration of the programme.
However, a final approval is required by the Punjab Cabinet for the resumption of the Ehsaas Rashan Program across the province. Dr Sania Nishtar added that Ehsaas Program was a very successful initiative during PTI’s tenure, receiving recognition at a global scale, and it will be implemented in Punjab in a similar manner.
