KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has established a first-ever drive-through coronavirus screening and testing facility in the district South of Karachi.
The Deputy Commissioner South Karachi has issued a step wise guidance for the Drive-Through coronavirus screening and testing for the public.
The Drive-Through COVID-19 testing facility has been set up near Jahangir Kothari Parade in Clifton.

The The people who wish to avail the drive-through screening and testing for coronavirus, must call on the given number for appointment first. They will be issued a code and appointment time.
Doctors, paramedics and other staff present there are fully equipped with all necessary protective gears.
Step 1

No Walk-in testing is allowed. So call and reserve an available slot for yourself.

Step 2
Reach on Time
- Bike/car both allowed
- Write serial number and Name on paper
- Put it on car dashboard or stick it with bike’s front light.
- Keep windows closed & Helmets on

موٹرسائیکل / کار دونوں کی اجازت ہے کاغذ پر سیریل نمبر اور نام لکھیں اسے کار کے ڈیش بورڈ پر رکھیں یا موٹر سائیکل کے فرنٹ لائٹ سے لگا دیں۔ ونڈوز بند رکھیں اور ہیلمٹ آن رکھیں
Step 3 – 1st Screening
A person coming for the test will be questioned by a medical doctor. His travel history and symptoms will be checked. Based on the assessment of the doctor person will either be asked to exit or proceed for the second screening.
پہلی اسکریننگ
ٹیسٹ کے لئے آنے والے شخص سے میڈیکل ڈاکٹر سے پوچھ گچھ ہوگی۔ اس کی سفری تاریخ اور علامات کی جانچ کی جائے گی۔ ڈاکٹر شخص کی تشخیص کی بنیاد پر یا تو قطع نظر کہا جائے گا یا دوسری اسکریننگ کے لئے آگے بڑھیں گے۔
Step 4 – 2nd Screening
Another round of screening through the Indus Hospital Screening mechanism. Based on the result of this screening a person will be asked to either exit or proceed for testing

انڈس اسپتال اسکریننگ میکانزم کے ذریعہ اسکریننگ کا ایک اور دور۔ اس اسکریننگ کے نتیجے کی بنیاد پر کسی شخص سے باہر نکلنے یا جانچ کے لئے آگے بڑھنے کے لئے کہا جائے گا
Step 5 – Sample Collection for Test
The person stays in car and reclines his seat or stays on the bike and opens the front of the helmet. A Nasal Swab is taken. The person is then counseled on effective self-isolation. Results are communicated the next day by phone/Whatsapp.
ٹیسٹ کے لئے نمونہ جمع
شخص کار میں رہتا ہے اور اپنی نشست سے لگاتا ہے یا موٹر سائیکل پر رہتا ہے اور ہیلمٹ کے سامنے والا حصہ۔ ایک ناک جھاڑی لی گئی ہے۔ اس کے بعد فرد کو موثر خود تنہائی کے بارے میں صلاح دی جاتی ہے۔ دوسرے دن نتائج / فون / واٹس ایپ کے ذریعہ آگاہ کیا جاتا ہے۔
