Islamabad Zone Terminates After 17 Series of Sectors: CDA

Capital Development Authority (CDA) notifies the general public that Islamabad limit ends after 17 series of sectors. Capital Development Authority, Islamabad has issued Public Notice that Housing Schemes/Apartments/Commercial Projects around Zones 1 & 2, does not fall in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Limits.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has also warned the general public that Sponsors, Builders, Developers & Advertisers are exploiting people for their own personal gains and profit. Due to their illicit activities, the general public may face heavy losses. CDA has therefore directed the general public in their Public Notice dated 28 September 2018 to be on high alert. The public is also directed before sale or purchase of property should have due verification from CDA weather the property falls within Islamabad Territory.

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Limits towards South West of Islamabad terminates after 17 Series of Sectors. There is no Sector of Islamabad in the South West of Sectors A-17, B-17, C-17, D-17, E-17, F-17, G-17, H-17, and I-17.

HOUSING SCHEMES/APARTMENTS/COMMERCIAL PROJECTS AROUND ZONES 1 & 2,      NOT FALLING IN ISLAMABAD CAPITAL TERRITORY (ICT) LIMITS
PUBLIC NOTICE

 

All the Stakeholders and the General Public at large is hereby informed, in their own interest, that as per CDA Ordinance 1960, Master Plan of Islamabad, The Capital of the Republic (Deamination of Area) Ordnance 1963, ICT Zoning Regulations 1992, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Limits towards South West of Islamabad terminates after 17 Series of Sectors. There is no Sector of Islamabad in the South West of Sectors A-17, B-17, C-17, D-17, E-17, F-17, G-17, H-17, and I-17.

  1. It has been observed with grave concern that, certain unscrupulous Sponsors, Builders. Developers & Advertisers of Housing Schemes/Apartments/ Commercial Projects around Zone 1&2 are using the Name of Sectors and Islamabad for advertisement/marketing of their Schemes/Projects which actually does not fall/locate within Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Limit. They fall within Tehsils Rawalpindi, Fateh Jhang and Taxila of Province of Punjab. This is a malpractice of the sponsors to just enhance the value of their land/plot for deceiving the general public by using Sectors and Name of Islamabad. The General Public is therefore requested to remain to be on high alert and watchful while carrying out any sale or purchase of property i.e. Plot, House, Flat, Shop, etc. and should have due verification from CDA weather the Housing Schemes/Projects are falling within Islamabad Capital Territory ( ICT), failing which the CDA shall not be responsible for the consequences.

 

  1. The Housing Schemes including but not limited to Army Welfare Trust. Capital Smart City, EIGHTEEN, Engineers Co-operative Housing Scheme, Faisal Town, Green Town. Gulshan-e-Sehat, Khudadad City. Multi Garden-II, Veterans Housing Scheme. Wapda Town. etc. do not fall in Islamabad but are located beyond Islamabad Capital Territory Limits.

 

  1. Sponsors, Builders, Developers & Advertisers, are exploiting the General Public for their illicit gains and cheating the public at large. Due to the illegal activities of these elements the victimized public is prone to face heavy financial loss and mental anguish. Therefore, those who are involved in these illegal activities are hereby warned that they should immediately bring an end to advertising, marketing the Housing Schemes/Apartments/Commercial Projects outside ICT Limits as Within Directorate-General. Awareness & Prevention Division. National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Islamabad Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and other relevant Government Departments are also being sensitized, on the issue.
