IED blast kills Major General, Lt.Col in Dir Upper District

Two senior officers of Pakistan Army including a Major General and a Lt. Colonel embraced Shahadat as a remote controlled blast went off in upper Dir District on Sunday,

ISPR confirmed the death of two senior officials. Major General Sanaullah and Lt.Col Tauseef were martyred as their vehicle was targeted with a remote controlled device near Afghan border in upper Dir district. Both the officers were on their way back from the border area when their vehicle was targeted with IED killing both the Major General and the Lt.Col embraced Shahadat in the explosion.

Security sources said that Major General Sanaullah was on a visit of the border area for the last few days.
