Lahore City Traffic Police (CTP) has started preparations for the traffic plan that will be used during Asia Cup 2023 matches scheduled at the Gaddafi Stadium on 3rd, 5th, and 6th September 2023.
According to the details, the Lahore City Traffic Police (CTP) will ensure a fool proof traffic plan for the Asia Cup 2023 matches so that no inconvenience is faced by cricket fans and citizens of the provincial capital.
The CTP has mentioned that protocol will be provided to foreign teams during commute from their hotel to the Gaddafi Stadium and vice versa, however, the roads around the area will be blocked for a minimal time.
The early traffic plan issued by the Lahore Traffic Police added that Government College for Boys, Liberty Parking Area, and Sun Fort Hotel will be used for parking during the Asia Cup 2023 matches.
Furthermore, all traffic on Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, Main Boulevard, and Gulberg Road will continue as per routine. However, there may be some interruptions around Kalma Chowk, MM Alam Road, and other roads around Gaddafi Stadium during VIP movements.

The Lahore Traffic Police also stated that 1,000 traffic wardens will be deployed to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow for the public. Moreover, the department has arranged 20 lifters to take action against wrong parking in the area.
