The caretaker Government has announced a massive reduction in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 October 2023 till 31 October 2023. According to the details, the Government has slashed the Prices of both Petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) from today.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been reduced by Rs. 40.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs. 15.00 per litre.
This brings the new Petrol Price at Rs. 283.38 per litre and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will now cost Rs. 303.18 per litre.

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will become effective from today on 16 October 2023 for the first half of the month.
“Owing to the decreasing trend of Petroleum prices in the international market and due to appreciation of Pak Rupee against US$, the Government has decided to revise the existing consumer prices of petroleum products.” stated the Finance Division in the notification

Earlier, it was reported Price of Petrol is may be reduced by Rs. 40 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) might be slashed by Rs. 18 per litre.
In the last fortnight review, the caretaker Federal Government had reduced the Petrol Price by Rs. 8.00 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) was slashed by Rs. 11.00 per litre, bringing price of both commodities at Rs. 323.38 per litre and 318.18 per litre, respectively.
