Minor girl tortured in Faisalabad, culprits arrested

In yet another tragic incident, a minor girl working as a housemaid was severely tortured by a man and his wife in Eden Valley area of Faisalabad, who have been arrested according to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Madina Town Police Station.

According to the details, the minor girl identified as Sadaf was brutally beaten by man identified as Rana Muneer and his wife Sameena Muneer, in Eden Valley area of Faisalabad two days ago but authorities took notice of the crime when a video of the tragic incident went viral on social media.

The culprits have since been arrested according to the SHO Madina Town Police in Faisalabad and the minor girl, 11-year-old Sadaf, has been handed over the Child Protection Bureau.

A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged with Madina Town Police in Faisalabad after the Child Protection Bureau was made aware of the incident through social media.

According to details, the Rana Muneer and Sameena Muneer beat up the minor housemaid after she got into a fight with their own children when they went to see peacocks at her employer’s house.

CM Punjab takes notice

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had also taken notice of the incident and sought a report from RPO Faisalabad while ordering strict action to be taken against the culprits involved in torturing the child.
