Public Transport fares hike in Karachi

KARACHI: The Transporters have started overcharging on Public Transport in Karachi after recent CNG prices went high.

Mini Buses fares price hiked Rs.10 and Large bus fares have been fixed Rs.25

The Transporters have said they cannot run their business on old fares due to the recent CNG price hike by the Government.

According to Sindh Transport Department, the fares have been revised neither notified by the department.

The Transports are overcharging excessive fares on their own.

Passengers commuting in public transport have complained about the recent fares hike.

There is no mechanism to lodge their complaints against transporters.
