The Punjab Government has announced one month summer vacation for schools across the province from 1 July 2021 till 1 August 2021 on Tuesday.
The announcement was made by Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas on Twitter. “Summer vacation for Schools of Punjab to start July 1st, 2021 till August 1st, 2021.” he said in his Tweet.

Summer vacation for Schools of Punjab to start July 1st, 2021 till August 1st, 2021. In these times of vacation, my request to all the children and their families is to follow SOPs issued by the government.
Murad Raas also requested all children and their families to follow SOPs issued by the government to avoid another wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
It is pertinent to mention that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had proposed start of summer vacation from 18 July but the decision was opposed by the Punjab Government.
The Punjab Government had originally recommended summer vacations for schools from 2 July 2021 to 2 August 2021.
