The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday on 12th Rabi ul Awal (Eid Milad un Nabi), which is falling on 19 October 2021.
The moon for the holy month of Rabi ul Awal, which is the third month in the Islamic calendar, was sighted on 7 October 2021. Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which is known locally as Eid Milad un Nabi, on the 12th of Rabi ul Awal.
“The Government of Sindh declares 12th Rabi-ul-Awal 1443 (A.H) on 19th October, 2021 (Tuesday) as a Public Holiday throughout the Province of Sindh on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) for all offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under Administrative Control of Government of Sindh,” said the notification issued by the Government of Sindh’s Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.
