Stormfiber Internet service is down Banks affected

KARACHI: A fire broke out at Storm Fiber (Internet Service Provider) ISP head office in Karachi late Saturday night due to which Internet service is down across the country.

StormFiber’s Facebook page updated about the incident just a while ago.

Multiple commercial banks such as UBL, Meezan Bank and several others using Stormfiber backend are experiencing network disconnection.

Meezan Bank smartphone application is unable to log in at this time due to technical network disconnection.

StormFiber team has initiated disaster recovery processes and assured that they are working on restoring the services as soon as possible, which might take more than 12 hours.

So far Stormfiber Internet service is offline in Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities.
