‘ Main hoon Afridi ’ Pakistani movie to be released on this Eid !

” Main hoon Afridi ” or ” I am Afridi ” is about a young boy who dreams of becoming as great as the cricket star and chronicles the ordeal he faces en route to playing like his idol.

Karachi – On Sunday, July 7th Atrium Mall played host to ARY Films and Mandviwalla Entertainment’s second motion picture announcement in two months – albeit from a different “platform”.

The motion picture on showcase was “ Main Hoon Shahid Afridi ”, produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib under their banner Six Sigma Films, directed by Syed Ali Raza.

Story of a boy (Noman Habib) who dreams to become Shahid Afridi finds himself down on luck when the only club he ever knew goes bankrupt. With no place else to go he discovers one last chance to save his club, his town and his dream. A cricket tournament coming to Sialkot which may be the club’s last hope. But are they ready yet? A team of misfits with no facility and no coach, can they even qualify for the cup and face the highly skilled undefeated rivals who were born with a golden spoon in their mouths and every facility in their hands? With that question in mind they decide to take help from an ex cricketer Akbar Deen (Humayun Saeed), but Akbar has a dark past of his own. When fates collide and mysteries unfold, “Main Hoon Shahid Afridi” embarks on a journey of Mistrust, Betrayal, Love, Power and Unfulfilled Dreams.

The main cast of movie is the famous start of Pakistani TV and movie screen which included Humayun Saeed, Mahnoor Baloch, Jawed Sheikh and his son Shahzad Sheikh, Nadeem Baig  Shafqat Cheema, Noman Habib and other new names are Aina Arif, Gohar Rasheed, Humza Ali Abbasi, Asim Mehmood and Summer Nicks.

Humayun Saeed
