MULTAN: National T20 Cup 2020 – 10th Match of Northern VS Sindh at Multan International Cricket Stadium. Northern won by 15 runs.
Sindh won the toss and elected to field first giving Northern to rack up a score of 204/5 with average run rate of 10.2 and the opening batsman giving a good start to the match.
Zeeshan Malik gave an exceptional performance scoring 84 runs off 52 balls while his partnership with Ali Imran was cut short as he was only able to score 27 runs off 16 balls.
Haider Ali also performed well scoring 35 runs off 22 balls while Shadab Khan and Asif Ali failed to perform well. However, Umar Amin scored 20 runs off 12 balls coming to bat towards the end of the innings similar to Mohammad Nawaz who added 5 runs to the total off 5 balls.
On the other hand, Sindh was able to score 191/7 with an average run rate of 9.55 per over and a rough start to their innings as Sharjeel Khan was out on the third ball scoring no runs.
However, Khurram Manzoor made up for it by scoring 64 runs but that too from 52 balls while Azam Khan scored 55 runs off 28 balls keeping the team in the game.
Anwar Ali also added 37 runs to the total off 17 balls but the rest of the team failed to perform. However, Danish Aziz and Mir Hamza came to bad towards the end of the innings and were not given the chance to perform.
