Peshawar Zalmi won the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) by 30 runs against Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi making this their third win of the tournamet.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opt to field first which didn’t turn out their way with Peshawar Zalmi scoring 170/6 runs which is quite impressive as this was a 15 over game.
Shaoib Malik was able to score 54 runs off just 27 balls followed by Haider Ali with 39 runs off 24 balls. Kamran Akmal also performed well scoring 23 runs off 12 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes.
Mohammad Hasnain however did not make it easy for the Peshawar Zalmi squad and took 4 tickets for 34 runs which was an exceptional performance.
Quetta Gladitors had a tough time chasing the score and were only able to make 140/7. Jason Roy showed an excellent performance and gave a good start to the team scoring 45 runs off 26 balls but unfortunately it did not help the team win.
Shane Watson was only able to make 19 runs Mohammad Nawaz, Ben Cutting and Sarfaraz Ahmed right behind him with 18, 17 and 16 runs respectively.
Quetta Gladiators tried their best but would not take the win.
