PSL 7 Anthem Leaked Ahead of Official Release

The highly anticipated PSL 7 Anthem has been leaked on social media ahead of the official release, which is scheduled for this week. The video of the PSL 2022 Anthem is going viral on Twitter and shows Atif Aslam and Aima Baig performing live on stage.

According to the details, the super-hyped PSL 7 Anthem was being filmed in Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium when someone from the audience secretly recorded the video and uploaded it on social media. In the viral video of the PSL 2022 Anthem, there is a large crowd watching Atif Aslam and Aima Baig perform the much-awaited song on stage.

It is the first time Atif Aslam is part of the PSL Anthem, while Aima Baig was previously featured in PSL 6 Anthem titled, ‘Mera Groove’, which also included legendary Naseebo Lal and the trendy Young Stunners.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry into the matter. The PSL 7 Anthem is expected to be released officially by 21 January 2022 after facing several delays due to lack of sponsorships and funding. The PSL 2022 Anthem also features Abdullah Siddiqui as the producer.

The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) is scheduled to start from 27 January 2022, however, there are reports of several PSL officials testing positive for the coronavirus ahead of the annual tournament, while the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has reduced the number of spectators to 25% during the Karachi-leg matches of the PSL 7.

It won’t be surprising if the tournament gets delayed as COVID-19 cases continue to surge on a daily basis. In the last 24 hours, Pakistan has reported 6808 new infections, which makes positivity rate of 11.55%. There are 918 patients in critical care at the moment as per the data provided by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).
