There are calls for the cancellation of the iconic T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India as Indian Union Minister Giriraj Singh has urged his government to reconsider the match between the two countries considering the current circumstances involving Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Indian Punjab Minister Pargat Singh has shared a similar opinion on the matter a few days ago, saying the T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India should not be played because of tension of the border.
“India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup shouldn’t be held because of the situation at the border isn’t ideal and both the countries are currently going through a stressful period,” he said. “We have to guard humanity and not do anything that may end up putting further stress on the relations between the two countries.”
The T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India is schedule to be played on 24 October 2021 in Dubai.
