The latest invite shows two circular camera bumps at an angle hinting at the launch of the Huawei P50 series which is suppose to house an impressive Sony IMX800 1-inch sensor, making it one of the biggest camera sensors on the market.

The launch of the Huawei P50 series has already been pushed back because of the trade sanctions by the US, which has caused the device to lose some of its thunder.

It bears mentioning that the delay has already caused Huawei to lose out on being the first smartphone manufacturer to unveil a 1-inch camera sensor.

Sharp Aquos R6 has already taken that title from Huawei with its 1-inch 20MP CMOS sensor featuring 7-element f/1.9 Leica Summicron lens.

However, the Huawei P50 also uses a lens co-developed with Leica and the smartphone is expected to used to showcase the Harmony OS.
