Motorola is gearing up to launch the Edge 50 Pro soon and recent sightings on the Geekbench platform have shed more light on its specifications. The phone, already confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, is now revealed to come with 12GB of RAM, although additional configurations may be available upon release. The processor setup includes four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, three cores at 2.4GHz, and a primary core running at 2.63GHz. Additionally, it will run on the latest Android 14 operating system straight out of the box.
According to Geekbench’s testing, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro exhibited promising performance with a single-core score of 1,097 and a multi-core score of 3,114 points. However, there is no information about the smartphone’s features out yet.
Motorola has previously confirmed some key features of the Edge 50 Pro, including its Pantone-validated curved AMOLED display. This display will offer a high-resolution 1.5K display, a rapid 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Notably, it will be the world’s first smartphone to feature a Pantone Validated triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor. This setup promises to deliver accurate colors and skin tones in captured images, enhancing the overall photography experience. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 50 will come in three different colors.
With the available information, the anticipation is growing for the Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s official launch, as it promises to offer powerful performance, cutting-edge display technology, and innovative camera capabilities to users.
