OnePlus recently introduced the OnePlus Ace 3V in China, marking it as the world’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Following its launch, Max Jambor, a reliable source, hinted that the Ace 3V might be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 4 for the global market.
In the past, OnePlus released the Ace 2V in March 2023, followed by a tweaked version called the Nord 3. Despite having different primary cameras, both phones shared similar specifications. Therefore, it’s anticipated that the upcoming Nord 4 could be a modified version of the Ace 3V.
The OnePlus Ace 3V boasts a 6.74-inch flat OLED display with a centrally placed punch hole, offering a high-resolution 1.5K display with a swift 120Hz refresh rate and 2150nits peak brightness. Operating on Android 14 with ColorOS 14, it ensures three Android upgrades and four years of security updates, alongside an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
Under the hood, the Ace 3V is fueled by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip and is available in configurations of 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM paired with 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It’s equipped with a sizable 5,500mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging.
In terms of photography, the Ace 3V sports a 16-megapixel front camera and a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Additional features include dual speakers, 5G capability, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, an x-axis linear motor, and an alert slider. With a thickness of 8.47mm and a weight of 200 grams, it’s a sleek and lightweight option in its class.
