Oppo has introduced another affordable mid-ranger – The Oppo F17 Pro price in Pakistan is Rs. 51,999 which makes it look like a decent option but is the smartphone actually worth buying? Lets take a look at the specification to decide.
The smartphone offers some really impressive features and takes on the competition pretty well but it is in no way a flagship device as there are always compromises at the given price point.
The Oppo F17 Pro features some impressive internals with a MediaTek Helio P95 processor coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage making sure it holds up during those heavy gaming sessions.
Despite having some high-end internals, the smartphone is lacking high refresh rate when it comes to the display. The Oppo F17 Pro is equipped with a 60Hz 6.43″ display at a resolution of 2400×1080.
The screen has a mini punch-hole of 3.7mm and is also equipped with an in-Display Fingerprint reader.
The smartphone featured a six camera setup with four on the rear while two selfie shooters are present on the front side of the device. The back cameras include a 48MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front of the device, there’s a 16MP main selfie shooter coupled with a 2MP depth camera for portrait photos.
The Oppo F17 Pro is capable of some impressive low-light portrait photography with its AI Super Night Portrait and AI Night Flare Portrait while the overall camera setup looks quite capable at the given price.
Charging and Battery
Oppo F17 Pro comes equipped with a massive 4000mAh battery capable of fast charging at 30W using the company’s proprietary VOOC technology. The company claims a charging time of 53 minutes from dead to a fully charged device.
Colors & Availability
The smartphone comes in two exciting colors which include the Magic Blue and Matte Black bringing out the phones true aesthetics. The Oppo F17 Pro is available for pre-order on https://www.oppo.com/pk/bookonline/ at a price in Pakistan of Rs. 51,999.
Is it worth buying?
We haven’t used the device but from looking at the specifications, not really worth getting. There are other good options available at the price offering the same if not better specifications.
The newly launched POCO X3 for instance offers some impressive specifications including a 120Hz display which is lacking on the Oppo F17 Pro.
