Punjab Police Request Ban of ‘PUBG Game’

The Punjab Police has decided to request the Provincial and Federal Government to ban the ‘Dangerous Game (PUBG)’ after a 14-year-old, identified as Zain, who played the online multiplayer game, killed his mother and siblings in Kahna area of Lahore.

According to the investigation by police, the 14-year-old, Zain, was addicted to the PUBG game and opened fire on his mother, sisters and brother thinking that everyone would be resurrected like in the game.

The police stated that Zain had went to sleep in the lower portion of the house after shooting his family and later went into hiding in a village near Faisalabad. The police had found the bullet-riddled bodies of the mother and three children from their house in Lahore on 19 January 2022.

As a result of the incident, the Punjab Police has decided to request the ban on “Dangerous Game (PUBG)” to the Provincial and Federal Government.

    How does the police discovered that he got addicted by PUBG and killed his family?
