Realme has unveiled its latest addition to the Realme 12 series, the Realme 12X, initially launching in its home market before expanding to other regions.
The Realme 12X features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, providing an enjoyable viewing experience. With a peak brightness of 625 nits, it ensures clear visibility even in bright environments. Slim and lightweight, the phone measures 7.89mm thick and weighs only 190g.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and boasting a generous 12GB+12GB (Virtual RAM) setup, the Realme 12X delivers efficient multitasking performance. It runs on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, promising a responsive user interface. The smartphone also comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging for quick recharges.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50-megapixel main camera for capturing detailed shots, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The Realme 12X is IP54 certified, ensuring resistance to splashes and dust, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner offers convenient unlocking.
In terms of pricing and configurations, the Realme 12X offers two storage options: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB, available in bluebird and black jade colors. The 256GB variant is priced at ¥1399, reduced from ¥1499, while the 512GB option costs ¥1599, down from ¥1799. Official sales in China are slated to begin on April 1st, 2024.
