WhatsApp seems to be working to introduce the feature to transfer chat history from Android to iOS since the company has already released a similar feature which allows transfer chat history from iOS to Android (specifically Samsung and Pixel Smartphones). At present, WhatsApp users are able to transfer chat history from an Android to iPhone using third party software only.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, a service that tracks new features on WhatsApp, the latest version of WhatsApp Beta for iOS 22.2.74 has carried references about the ability to import chat history from an Android device to an iPhone. WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of the Android to iOS chat transfer feature.
However, the new feature has not been made available to beta testers yet and it may take some time before it is available for the end users on the stable version of WhatsApp.
