Haramain High-Speed Railway Offering Discounted Tickets From UAE to Saudi Arabia

If you’re planning to go for Umrah from the UAE, you can now get discounted train tickets to Mecca and Medina through the Haramain High-Speed Railway. During Ramadan, there’s a special offer with up to a 50% discount on economy class tickets and a 30% discount on business class tickets.

The Haramain High-Speed Railway, which opened in 2018, spans 450 kilometers and connects Mecca to Medina, with stops in Jeddah along the way.

Here’s how you can take advantage of the discounted tickets:

1. The discounts apply only to trips from Al Sulimaniyah station to Mecca and from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Mecca or Medina.
2. Prices vary depending on the route and class:
   • Economy class tickets from Al Sulimaniyah station to Mecca start at SAR23 (Dh22.52).
   • Business class tickets from the same station to Mecca start from SAR58 (Dh56.79).
   • Economy class tickets from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Mecca start at SAR34 (Dh33.29).
   • Business class tickets for the same route start from SAR78 (Dh76.38).
   • Economy class tickets from Jeddah Airport to Medina start from SAR97 (Dh94.60).
   • Business class tickets for the same route start from SAR226 (Dh221.25).

How to book your tickets:

1. Visit sar.hhr.sa and click on ‘Book a seat’.
2. Choose your trip type, route, and date.
3. Select the number of passengers and any accompanying children or infants.
4. Search for available times and choose your preferred one.
5. Select your seat.
6. Enter your personal information and travel document details.
7. Review the discounted price and pay securely with your credit or debit card.
8. Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive your tickets via email.
