This innovative digital realm integrates cultural richness with technological advancement, offering users a diverse array of activities mirroring real-life experiences, such as the Founding Day festivities.
The platform showcases cultural attractions like the History March, alongside dedicated sections for music, art, history, culinary arts, and crafts. Additionally, it includes mini-games and a Performance Center streaming live events like the Foundation’s Day Beginning Symphony concert. Accessible through Mobile XR, the platform caters to various devices, ensuring inclusivity across audiences.
This move underscores the Ministry’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, enabling millions, regardless of location or technology, to engage with Saudi culture in the metaverse. The initiative signifies a significant stride in cultural engagement, heralding a new era of participation and expression.
In collaboration with droppGroup and droppPhygital, leveraging Hyperledger Fabric 2.5 blockchain technology, the initiative operates under the Saudi Heritage metaverse platform banner, enhancing its technological infrastructure and potential impact.
