Swimming in floodwaters is strongly discouraged due to the extreme danger it poses to life. The public is urged to follow safety instructions shared on various media platforms by the directorate.

The forecasted weather fluctuations will impact several regions in Saudi Arabia including Turbah, Raniyah, Al Mawiya, Al Khurmah, and Al Ardiyat in Mecca. The effects will extend to Al Baha, Asir, Jazan, Al Jouf, Hail, Al Qassim, the Eastern Province, and the Northern Borders Region. Riyadh and surrounding areas are also expected to experience significant weather changes.

Areas expecting moderate to heavy rainfall are at risk of flash floods, hailstorms, and dust storms, prompting specific warnings from the Civil Defence. Cities like Mecca, Al Jumum, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Riyadh, Medina, Jazan, and Hail may experience light to moderate rains, which could escalate into sudden downpours, hail, and dust storms, emphasizing the need for caution and safety prioritization during this period.
