The United States is unlikely to use a COVID-19 or coronavirus vaccine developed by China or Russia according to the US infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci who questioned the safety of such vaccines.
Several Chinese and Russian companies are racing towards developing a vaccine to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and Russia already has a target set for September.
However, due to the nature of the regulatory system in these countries, Dr Anthony Fauci of the United States has expressed concerns over the testing of such vaccines.

Dr Anthony Fauci told the US Congressional hearing on Friday:
I do hope that the Chinese and the Russians are actually testing the vaccine before they are administering the vaccine to anyone,
Claims of having a vaccine ready to distribute before you do testing, I think, is problematic, at best.
However, the companies in the US are also hard at work to make a vaccine and the US Government will pay pharmaceutical giants like Sanofi and GalaxoSmithKline (GSK) up to $2.1 billion for the development of a vaccine under their “Operation Warp Speed”.
The coronavirus has over 685,000 people globally and infected more than 17.8 million while the United States has the highest proportion of these numbers with over 157,000 deaths and more than 4.7 million cases.
