Javed Afridi teases launch of MG 5 2021 Sedan in Pakistan

Javed Afridi, the man who brought MG Motors to Pakistan has took to Twitter and asked his fans about the MG 5 2021 sedan price recommendation which has got people wondering whether the company plans on launching the car to their local lineup after the successful launch of their MG HS in the country.

The Pakistani entrepreneur posted some pictures of the MG 5 2021 sedan on his Twitter account last month giving rise to speculations regarding the launch of the vehicle started on social media. However, there was no update regarding the matter until today, when the Peshawar Zalmi chairman once again teased the vehicle on his Twitter handle.

Javed Afridi posted a bunch of picture of the D-segment family sedan on his Twitter handle and also included a specification sheet for the vehicle, which might be the exact variant of the car being launched in Pakistan.

Engine and Transmission

According to the MG 5 2021 sedan specification shared on his Twitter account, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine, producing an impressive 129 horsepower (hp) and 210 Newton metres (Nm) of torque. This variant of the vehicle with a 6-speed automatic transmission with a sport and manual mode.
