Sana Javed to star in horror thriller ‘Neeli Zindah Hai’

The extremely talented and highly celebrated starlet Sana Javed, who took the audience by surprise with the portrayal of rape-victim in recently concluded Ruswai, is back with yet another electrifying project. Pairing alongside the veteran heartthrob actor and director Mohib Mirza, the duo is ready to fascinate the audience in a haunting thriller titled ‘Neeli Zinda Hai’.

Pakistani dramas are recognized all over the world owing to their unique plots and classical storylines. It looks like the creators and show-runners have finally stepped ahead of the typical family disputes and love triangle serials. It is therefore the reason that more drama serials depicting social issues, mental health and other captivating timelines are taking shape on small screens.

However, the Pakistani dramas industry is still lacking on the horror element. Hence, screenplays like Bandish and Belapur ki dayan, garnered huge praises and ratings as the audience is actually looking forward to such content.

About Neeli Zindah Hai

Keeping the spectaculars’ interest in mind, the brains behind the massively popular Prem Gali are back with a suspenseful story this time. Penned down by Adeel Razzaq, Qasim Ali Mureed’s upcoming thriller promises ‘nail-biting’ plots and events that will leave the audience dazzled. Titled Neeli Zindah Hai, the currently on stage serial features the mesmerizing Sana Javed and the charismatic Mohib Mirza as central cast.

Furthermore, the drama is a combined presentation of ARY digital and Six Sigma Plus production. Other than the veteran leads, Neeli Zindah Hai will also star Sonia Mishal and Jinaan Hussain in significant avatars.

Talking about the approaching page-turner, the Senior Vice President of ARY Films, Irfan Malik revealed, “Neeli Zinda Hai is a thriller-suspense-horror kind of a drama. By horror I mean it is more of an anticipatory horror instead of the usual supernatural one. It is an interesting story and the project is quite challenging for us as well.”

Moreover, Sonia Mishal also stated about her impending project alongside Sana Javed and Mohib Mirza. Talking about the genre, she commented, “Neeli Zinda Hai is a horror/thriller, but it’s not your everyday thriller. The story is very interesting; with a lot of twists and turns and jump scare situations.”

Additionally, giving a sneak peek into her character, Sonia mentioned, “Mohib and I play a married couple in the serial and we also have a daughter. Things happen but let’s keep it all suspense for now.”

Finally, Sonia concluded by elaborating the title of the show, revealing that “Neeli” is to be played by the dignified “Sana Javed.”  

“Sana is of course playing Neeli. That’s all I can say for now. Let’s keep it as a surprise since the drama is still at the very initial shooting stage. Qasim Ali Mureed is directing the project and he’s doing a great job since he has an amazing team and a kick-ass script.”

Sana Javed

The massively popular star Sana Javed stepped into the world of showbiz with a supporting role in 2012’s series Mera Pehla Pyar followed with a small appearance in Shehr-e-Zaat the same year. The actress gained wide recognition after illustrating antagonist in ‘Zara Yaad Kar.’ Since then, Sana has been unstoppable, delivering one after the other blockbuster performances. In 2017, the actress garnered immense praises by the character of Khaani in megahit serial of the same name.

Recently, the actress posted a picture on her Instagram handle, revealing her epitome as Neeli.

Sana Javed is a dignified actress and her simplicity and decency is what makes her the apple of the viewer’s eyes. The actress always adopts distinctive roles and hence the audience has high hopes for Neeli Zindah Hai.
