Zara Sheikh to star in ‘Raqs e Bismil’ alongside Sarah Khan

Pakistani actress Zara Sheikh is all set to star alongside Sarah Khan in upcoming drama serial Raqs e Bismil after a long hiatus from acting in any significant project after she shot to fame with the film Tere Pyaar Main.

Zara Sheikh has mostly worked worked on movies but has appeared in some dramas on occasion. However, that is about to change as the star has now confirmed that she will be staring in the upcoming drama Raqs e Bismil.

According to the Heer Maan Ja actress, the reason she has avoided TV shows despite getting several offers was their storyline which was not to her liking or something she wanted to take on as a project.

Talking to Galaxy Lollywood, the Pakistani starlet Zara Sheikh said:

People have always asked me why I have never done a TV show before and my answer has always been the same: I just want to do a character that is exciting and gives me a good margin of performance.

The character is really exciting. The show has a very good team of co-actors and also behind the screens. It is a Hum TV project. I am really looking forward to being a part of it.

According to the entertainment portal, the shooting for Raqs e Bismil is half-way done while the rest will be completed by December as stated by the producer Shazia Wahajat.
