AJK govt approved a project to convert scenic spot Pir Chanasi into an int

The AJK government has approved a project to convert scenic spot Pir Chanasi into an international tourist resort.

The approval was given at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider. 

The meeting was informed that a company of international repute will install a chairlift from Pir Chanasi to Jhattiyan at a cost of 1.5 billion rupees.

In the next phase, the company will construct a five start hotel and a public park at Pir Chanasi and the government has allocated 250 Kanal land for the purpose.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Farooq Haider said the government is evolving a comprehensive strategy for promotion of tourism in AJK.
